DasNet has teamed with Synnex to offer AV products and services through its contract schedule with the General Services Administration. The GSA Professional Audio/Video Solutions Schedule 58 I Contract is designed to meet the digital telecommunications and security surveillance needs of federal agencies – from the most basic to the most sophisticated. DasNet will continue to offer television cameras, telecommunications equipment, recording and reproducing technology, closed circuit surveillance equipment, video and audio equipment, ancillary services, and more through Synnex’ s contract vehicle. This contract has been established to make it simpler for our government clients Federal, Military, State and Local Governments, and Education Markets to acquire our offerings anywhere in the world. The GSA Advantage! System may be useful in assisting agencies preferring to search for or order our services by accessing them via the Internet at: https://www.gsaadvantage.gov/advantage/s/search.do?db=0&q=0%3A2GS-03F-053DA+&searchType=1&s=0.
Orders placed pursuant to a Multiple Award Schedule (MAS), using the procedures in FAR 8.404, are considered to be issued pursuant to full and open competition. Therefore, when placing orders under Federal Supply Schedules, ordering offices need not seek further competition, synopsize the requirement, make a separate determination of fair and reasonable pricing, or consider small business set-asides in accordance with subpart 19.5. GSA has already determined the prices of items under schedule contracts to be fair and reasonable. By placing an order against a schedule using the procedures outlined below, the ordering office has concluded that the order represents the best value and results in the lowest overall cost alternative (considering price, special features, administrative costs, etc.) to meet the Government’s needs.
