This multiple-award procurement vehicle provides IT and computer technologies for all Federal Government agencies. DasNet was awarded a contract in October, 2014; however, the implementation of all of the SEWP V contract awards was delayed by protest. Over the past six months, NASA has reevaluated all of the original winning proposals and has sustained DasNet's award in the Group C Category. DasNet will be providing Server Support and Multifunctional Devices to support NASA's mission.
The purpose of the SEWP V contract is to deliver state-of-the-art information technology and computer technologies, high-end scientific and engineering processing capabilities, and network equipment and peripherals. These Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts are available for ordering by all NASA centers, and are open to all U.S. Civilian and Department of Defense agencies to meet their requirements for a broad array of technology solutions and related services. NASAs Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, Maryland procures and manages the SEWP V effort.
Each contract will have an effective ordering period of ten years, consisting of a five-year base from November 1 to October 31, 2019, and one five-year option to extend the period of performance through October 31, 2024. Ordering under SEWP V is expected to open on May 1, 2015.
All of the awards are for firm fixed-price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contracts. The minimum amount of supplies or services that may be ordered is $25.00 with a maximum of $20 billion per contract.
